Wacky Rarity! (Ulamog)

Okay, I know I usually point out mythics that I think should rather be rare. Or rares that could be uncommon (screw limited). For once though I have a rare I think should be mythic:

I saw that and was pretty confused myself.

If there's ever been a card that screamed mythic, this is it. Of the handful of card that I actually think should be mythic, this is surely one. This seems like everything the rarity was created for.

I can't disagree, but I really like this creature. I know that much.

Remember how, in Mirrodin block, they lowered the level of artifacts by one, so you would have artifacts with the power of uncommons at common, and those with rare value at uncommon? The same is true here with teh eldrazi. the common ones would be uncommon elsewhere, and so forth. The only mythics are the three major ones. So this is pushed from mythic to rare.

It still seems damned crazy! Especially when compared to the other revealed mythics in the set. Most of them aren't on the power level of the eldrazi. Those things are just insane. I imagine that dropping one in limited is mostly good game.
